This international platform in the Middle East has come into being for educating, creating awareness and inculcating artistic and cultural interest among the people through the selected exhibited galleries, showcasing an extensive range of artistic creations, hosting a series of talks by renowned art-world academics, patrons, connoisseurs as well as emerging and leading artists from all fields of the visual arts.

The fourth edition of Abu Dhabi Art, which was held in 2012, was an astounding success. Nearly 600 artistic creations were displayed by over 400 artists. Art galleries participating in the show numbered 50, while 50 book launches were also made during the event.

The highly-successful Abu Dhabi Art show held last year has firmly established Saadiyat Island as a cultural district and also placed Abu Dhabi in an unassailable position as the cultural destination of the future.
