There are several rooftop bars in the area as well that offer an excellent drinks menu. They also have beautiful views of the city.

1. The Sports Page Lounge & Deli
The Sports Page Lounge & Deli is a longtime South Huntsville watering hole that serves up a solid brew and a tasty entrée to match. The bar is a hoot to hang out in, as are the staffers who are up for a sing. There is a large selection of cocktails on offer including the devilishly named red, white and blue (RWB). As for beer, the best bet is to stick with the old standbys. You may want to bring your wallet for the requisite libations of the night, but the cheapest in town can be had on tap. The most memorable experience is to be found in the backrooms.

2. Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks is the ultimate sports lodge that offers everything you crave & more: made-from-scratch comfort food, frosty 29deg beers & friendly and attentive Twin Peaks Girls. It’s the manliest place to watch football, basketball, live UFC fights and so much more!

The newest Twin Peaks is opening soon in Huntsville near MidCity at University Drive. It has 61 high definition TVs, 32 beers on tap, and two full bars.

It’s part of a chain of more than 85 locations, and it offers a Hooters-style service. It has an all-female waitstaff called Twin Peaks Girls and is hiring for as many as 85 of them.

There are also plenty of games, including darts and arcade games to entertain the little ones while the adults eat & drink. The place is a great choice for birthday parties, bachelor or bachelorette parties, corporate events and date nights.

The summer pop-up is a reference to the 1990 cult-favorite ABC TV drama Twin Peaks, which has been revived on Showtime in 2017. The bar has an elaborate menu of drinks, including the Black Yukon Sucker Punch and Bobby Briggs’ Football Spritz, which feature sfumato amaro, apricot liqueur, Meletti fernet, lime and mystery foam.

3. Bar Vista
Located at the new AC Hotel in downtown Huntsville, Bar Vista is an outdoor terrace with breathtaking views of Big Spring Park. It also offers heating outdoor seating for cold nights and a full menu with cocktails and wine to enjoy.

It’s a year round spot, says management consultant Rahul Arora, who oversees the opening and operation for Yedla Management Company. He says the view is “like no other” anywhere in town.

The space can seat 78 in modern-yet-warm style. A ceiling of 4,000-watt infrared heaters and string lights dangling above make for an intimate setting for dining or just relaxing.

When it comes to food, Chef Rene Boyzo combines the highest quality ingredients to create dishes like Halibut Crudo and Jicama-Habanero Escabeche. The fusion dishes are perfect for sharing with friends.

But tequila and cocktails are the main draw here. A local brew or two will soon be on the menu as well.

This is a new addition to the AC Hotel, a Barcelona-based chain that opened last March. It’s already got a first floor AC Lounge focused on smocked cocktails, upscale wines and bourbon.

4. Connors Steak & Seafood
Connors Steak & Seafood is located in the heart of downtown Huntsville and offers some impressive menu items. The high tech restaurant is a good choice for business meetings or family dinners and its onsite parking lot and valet service are two of the perks of dining in this part of town.

The Connors menu is a well-crafted mix of premium steaks, seafood and gourmet salads and pastas. There are a few choices that will have your mouth watering including the lobster crab bisque, 1855 prime ribeye and eggplant stuffed pepper. The burger and the chicken wings also make for tasty treats.

This is also a great place to watch the game in style as there are several televisions on display. Its signature wine bar has a large selection of wines and craft cocktails to keep you entertained while you wait for your meat to arrive. Its ambiance is also not to be missed as it’s a nice touch to have a glass of champagne on hand to sip after a fine meal. The staff was very courteous and friendly. It’s definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re looking for the best steak in Huntsville.

5. Rhythm on Monroe
Located across the hall from Mars Music Hall inside the Von Braun Center, Rhythm on Monroe is a great place to grab a bite before or after your show. The menu is impressive with a mix of classic bar food and delectable dishes like Lamb Lollypops, Pecan-crusted trout and a Char-grilled filet. Sides are spruced up a notch with offerings such as crispy Brussels sprouts, Parmesan shoestring truffle fries and a grilled asparagus.

Rhythm on Monroe also has a hefty cocktail list and serves an abbreviated breakfast menu during brunch hours. Moreover, it has a snazzy rooftop bar with one of the best views in town.

The aforementioned bar menu is an excellent choice for those who want to sample a taste of Huntsville’s best while enjoying some high-end libations. The restaurant boasts a handful of cocktails, a handful of craft beers and a curated wine list. The bar is large and open allowing for social distancing to be accommodated with ease. The most coveted tidbit is the drink of the day, the eponymous Rhythm on Monroe, which includes two alcoholic beverages, a small plate, a shot and a bottle of wine for about $30.

6. Chips & Salsa Sports
Located in downtown Huntsville, Chips & Salsa Sports is a great place to go with your family and friends. They have a made-from-scratch menu, full bar, billiards and plenty of Huntsville hospitality!

The atmosphere is very fun with a lot of sports on the TVs. They have a nice selection of beer on tap and also have a good selection of finger food. They have a wide range of burgers and wings.

If you are in the mood for something a little different, Phat Sammy’s has plenty of tropical cocktails to choose from. Their drinks are creative and have punny names.

This is a tiki-themed bar that offers beach decor and tropical cocktails. It has a full bar, patio and is very popular for their drink specials and happy hours.

It’s the perfect place to hang out with a group of friends and watch your favorite game. There are many TVs to watch your favorite team, and the staff is friendly.

If you want to go out for a bite to eat while watching a game, try the End Zone. They have a great menu and it’s a great place to watch your favorite football team.
