Udaipur is populated with very lively and entertaining people celebrated a number of fairs and festivals and bringing together people of different class and creed to a common platform. This is the second living cultural festival of India, which is celebrated annually in Udaipur. The Mewar festival celebrates all the living heritage of Mewar; The arts, traditional singing, dance, food, colors, cultural diversity etc. give an opportunity to display.

  1. Gangaur Festival

Ganagaur festival is celebrated very well in Udaipur; this festival is celebrated on the Teevi of the Shukla party of the Chaitra month. This festival starts from the second day of Holi, which is celebrated for 16 days. If the virgin girls wish for the wishes of the groom, then the married women wish for longevity of their husbands. In different groups, singing folk songs in different groups, breaking the flowers and filling the water with wells is showing people’s eyes, and then turning it somewhere. Folk music is dominating traditional folk dance. Ganagaur festival is celebrated in Rajasthan with great fanfare. Ganagaur festival is celebrated with enthusiasm, enthusiasm and enthusiasm.

  1. Diwali Festival

The Diwali festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over India. The Diwali festival is celebrated very well in Udaipur. To see this Diwali Festival, very tourists come every year. On the first day of Diwali festival, people celebrate Dhanteras, then on the second day of hell chat day, third and fourth day celebrate Deepawali and celebrate Bhai Duj festival on fifth day. Everybody is happy on Diwali and congratulates each other. Children buy toys and crackers. A few days before Diwali, people clean and paint their homes, shops for Diwali.

  1. Holi Festival

Holi is the festival of colors, which is celebrated every year in the month of Phagun (March) by the people of Hindu religion with great fanfare. This festival filled with excitement brings affection and proximity to each other for us. In it, people meet together, they embrace, and each other has color and Abir. During this time, all together sing religious and fagoon songs on the tune of Dholak, Harmonium and Kareel. During this, the entire nature and environment are very beautiful and colorful. For children, this festival has special significance. They bring a variety of pistachios and balloons from the market one day already. Kids enjoy holi with their friends with balloons and pitchworks. Holi is celebrated in the whole country but Holi of Bhuj, Holi of Mathura, Holi of Vrindavan, Holi of Barsana, Holi of Kashi is famous all over India.

These and the other festivals like the Holi festival, the Teej festival, etc add  to the experiences of the visitors and travelers who are allured by the interesting ceremonies, rituals and folk performances during these festivals in Udaipur.
