It’s a thing of dreams for most of us, but if you had the means to stay in a luxury hotel in one of the world’s most expensive cities, where would you choose?

Below is a list of some of the world’s most expensive overnight stays. Where would you go?

The Dolder Grand in Zurich, Switzerland

Inspired by the conductor, Maestro Herbert von Karajan, you could stay in the Maestro suite at The Dolder Grand for £12,000 a night. The suite is said to offer spectacular views across the city of Zurich and the Alps.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Tokyo, Japan

Access to the Presidential Suite in this hotel comes through the Ritz-Carlton Club and not only will you get to stay overnight in this £16,000 suite but you will also be given access to a number of VIP amenities such as a private lounge with views over Mount Fuji and up to five complimentary ‘food and beverage presentations’ 

The Epic Sana Luanda Hotel in Luanda, Angola

£2,000 will get you a night in the Presidential Suite of this hotel. If you opted to stay in this suite the hotel offers you EPIC Dreams, EPIC Grooming and epic views over Luanda Bay.

The Hotel Schweizerhof in Bern, Switzerland

A stay in the Presidential Suite of this 150 year old hotel set in the Swiss capital will set you back around £2,700 a night.

Hotel Kempinski in N’Djamena, Chad

This hotel claims you can ‘live like a royal guest’ and ‘feel the African spirit’ and for £3,800, you could stay in the Presidential Suite and do just that.

The Intercontinental Hong Kong in Hong Kong, China

£8,200 will buy you one night in the Presidential Suite at this hotel. Asia’s most luxurious Presidential suite, you even get your own personal butler as well as views over Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island.

Hotel Park Hyatt in Sydney, Australia

If you opted to stay here in the Sydney suite you could make use of two private balconies with skyline views over Sydney’s harbour, the Opera House and the city itself. An overnight stay would set you back around £9,500.

The Ritz-Carlton in Moscow, Russia

This luxury hotel, set on the edge of Red Square could cost you up to £10,400 a night. Staying in one the club level suites will ensure you superb views over parts of Moscow including the Kremlin.

Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore, Singapore

You can stay in the Chairman Suite at Marina Bay Sands Hotel for a tidy £10,800. This suite offers views over the city of Singapore from one of its private balconies.

President Wilson Hotel in Geneva, Switzerland

A stay in this hotel could cost you in the region of £41,500 per night if you opted for the Royal Penthouse suite. Famed throughout the world as the largest and most luxurious of hotel suites, the Royal Penthouse has 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a Steinway grand piano and its own fitness centre. Covering the highest floor of the hotel, it is the pinnacle of luxury.
